Performance Vauxhall Show at the Pod today & its pissing down

nothing worse than planning a good day out & it being ruined by rain!
i remember Central day '04, it was like a monsoon for most of the day

hopefully it will clear up for them a bit later

 

I was suppose to be going up with me m8 an his mk2 astra turbo, but decided to give it a miss, saying that he still went the crazy bugger (he has been looking forward to it 4 ages ) i hope he has packed his waders lol.........

 

A guy from my work is away down with some of his mates, 8 hour drive and camping out


Nothing worse, i hope it doesnt rain for the GP at donnington, im camping out all weekend too

 

11 of mates went down yesterday, but I looked at the weather and decided no deal.

Glad I didnt! Apparently yesterday was okish and today itsw only just stopped raining!

 

The poor buggers.Last week at classic ford was spot on.

Me and a couple mates left this morning for pod, it was dry when we left but fell down 10mins in to the jorney so decide to turn round and come home

But just sold my civic so wouldn't of done that if i was at pod

 

i thought id go just to see something diffrent as im always going to the ford shows only,
so i left bracknell about 8am blue sky no clouds got on the m25 and i felt like turning back home but we just kept going, when i reached northampton it was hamering it down!
so went to mc'ds and it just wouldnt stop so drove home in time for the f1

 

its brightened up any way, stopped raining about 11:30, not to bad now, bit overcast but no rain, think i'll get out on my bike soon!
