By chance crawling down a hill with a shiny van in front I noticed that everytime I applied the brakes the front lights glow. Its only a glow of the front lights so is it possible an electrical leakage? The brake lights all work OK. Could this be a sign that it could start to get worse??

 

You've either fitted the wrong bulb in the rear tail/brake light or a bulb is faulty.

Change both the rear tail/brake light bulbs and that'll be your problem fixed

 

One (or both) of your rear tail/brake bulbs is a single filament one ie the WRONG one.

It needs to be a twin filament one.
