rite, i have been running the standard plastic dumpy on the tb side but it had split so i swaped it for a shitty what i think is a piston type one but now it just hisses really really loud..if i was to put it on the airfilter side would it be quieter and would i get my chatter back?

would there be any point putting it on the air filter side? The air will have already have came back through the turbo blades before it gets released by the valve wont it

isnt chatter compressor stall??? if so, isnt a dumpvalve meant to prevent compressor stall and therefore no chatter sound

If you want chatter just run without a DV, putting it on hot side is not likely to make it any different noise wise.

Remove the T-Piece and have your boost gauge connected directly to the manifold.
