Question Blue Smoke?

When i start my car up and just let it tick over its fine for a minute and then a puff of blue smoke comes out then you give it a rev and it clears this only happens the odd time. Wierd thing is that i only have the engine run in? Any ideas?

Has the engine been fully rebuilt or just bottem end?
could be a valve stem seal but they should have been replaced on a head rebuild.

Intercooler, Fuel Metering unit, or are you EFI?
Could be that there is old oil in the IC (Intercooler), or a puddle sitting in the metering unit if your still MFI.

Right cool!
Yeah if there was anything worth worrying about in the IC I would think you'd be able to see it quite easily.
