but need to log in again at the top

i've done the usual cleaning cookies and deleting history and not following links and even changed the faviorites and all sorts, but it just happens time and time again

i'm at the other house now and it's done it here as well so it's not just one isp, on both computers, although how the laptop can post replies and not be affected whereas the main computer at the other house keeps logging me out is somethng i have yet to figure out

i can't be the only one suffering from this can i?

is there a faq that can be put up to eliminte all the things that can lead to this problem so that i can try it before posting this post here?

thanks

can't get online at work now as there is stuff on this site that has been deemed "unappropriate" for work pc's to view so forget that

mainly i use this pc which is vista and ie8 and this is the one that just get's random log outs

for example, i'll log in, read some posts, go to reply to one and then, when i press the "post reply" button i get told i'm not logged in

or i'll be looking and change from one page to another and i'll be logged out

BUT

in another window that is open and also on pf, i can post a reply and it will keep me logged in

just don't make sense
