Default S2 with power steering

I've fitted it to mine!! I'm restoring it at the moment, it will be ready for the summer. in the world of trying to be a bit different, this was a mod I just havn't seen and i just wondered why? I had a real mixed response though, and comments like " you'll lose the feel of the car" but I have a couple of other Quick cars both of which have power steering and the feedback through the wheel is fine, (also cossies have power steering) I just think that Ford didn't fit it becuase of cost, and at the time they didn't have to becuase most of the competition at the time didn't have it. ( I can only think of the astra gte that did)

B19 TRB thanks for the reply, I don't want to sound "wet" but you're car was partly the insperation for mine! Small world

Ant.

i would like power steering on my rst but dont know what parts from which car to use. Ive heard the there were mk4 escorts for drivers with disability which had power steering but sourcing those cars is like looking for a needle in a haystack.

Very little power as the pump is belt driven, ive got a mk5rst, it has power steering, not sure what rack you wud use but you need a bottom pulley, alternator pully and big alloy thing that bolts on side of block
