This has probably been asked a thousand times but i am after an AP 2000-8 organic clutch and a stage 1 gearbox. Where is the best place for quality and price for these items. My car will be running just over 200bhp when all is finished will these both be ok. Any help is much appriciated.

 

Bernie at CTS for a gearbox (his stage 1 should be fine)....i think christian and beccy on here may be able to help you with the clutch

Geartorque are a bunch of jokers....in my experience anyway, used them a few years ago after reading about them in fast ford, most appauling service i've ever had and the gearbox was shit too!

 

I thought the exact opposite didnt phone or anything dropped my whining car off, said tomorrow it will be done. Got a phone call on the way home, its done we used another customers box as there picking it up in a week. Pick it up in 1 hour.
I thought that was rather good service, and the box stands up to my constant hard launches.

 

id go for the ap paddle cluch on a set of vibratechnics mounts as for the box never used a stage 1 but an early zetec box with bigger bearings should take the abuse

 

I'm sure their workman ship is spot on, but I had a funny experience with CTS which makes me wonder sometimes...
