Group a diff mount
There was a 909 one for sale on the Cosworth ads on here a while back but I think AndyPen bagged it?
( Ah just edited this to say that I see it was you selling it to Andy Stu! Apologies )
I think Graham Goode Racing and R&B Motorsport do the poly ones but ISTR GGR were waiting for some new re-designed ones to come through.
Hope that is some help Stu

Diff mount info from MC Racing if you're interested
Prices are from 3 years ago before people moan ( exchange rate different now )
So it seems the Gp N is just a harder rubber one and the poly mount is stiffer still.

When you say a Gp A diff mount do you mean the one for the 9" rear end?

Standard mount on Left, Group N on right
I am the one that engineered the mc²racing aluminum & polyurethane diff mount.
The diff mount is a tremendously important mount to upgrade, and it is often overlooked. On our autocross Merkur XR4Ti, we were having a lot of trouble with rear suspension deflections - which in our case was on the order of inches. We minimized this problem by installing a Group N (909) diff mount, and I have been a HUGE fan of the Group N diff mount ever since. Last year I wanted to pickup a second Group N diff mount, but when I went to order one from GGR I discovered that Ford had discontinued them! To the drawing board I went.
Now, I modeled the aluminum & polyurethane diff mount after the Group N diff mount. The critical dimensions are 100% identical, and the effective stiffness and NVH are identical. I went through several test bushings with a variety of different durometers and tolerances before selecting the one that is currently in production. I can say based on first-hand experience that you can not tell the difference between a vehicle equipped with a Group N diff mount and one of our diff mounts, which means that I accomplished my goal.
Of course, our diff mount has many advantages over the Group N diff mount since I don't have any bean counters watching over my shoulders like the Ford engineers do. Our mount is about half the weight, yet is quite beefy. Our mount is also cheaper. I paid $180 (£97.3 today) for my Group N diff mount 5 years ago, yet I sell our diff mount for $160 (£86.5 today). Finally, you can replace the bushings. When the Group N diff mount goes bad, it's bad forever. When our mount goes bad, you just stick in two fresh bushing "halves", which cost about $25 (£13.5 today) total.
We do have the solid diff mounts available also, but those are for cars that do not see street duty at all. If you ever drive your car on the street, use a polyurethane diff mount. If you never drive your car on the street, use a solid diff mount. It's that simple, and there are no exceptions.

I presume you wanted the GGR one as it is even more solid?
I've got piccies of a MC2RACING one, but don't get how to post, happy to email someone if they could do that for me ?
I am also seeing about polying a std diff hanger today, that is a straight replacement of the rubber for poly, in the original metal outer but inner will need to be changed as it will move on the poly, as poly won't stick to metal, outer is okay due to shape holding it .

It would be good to have a pic of all the different options in the one thread for future reference
That is indeed the kiddie, but as you say not too clear, so when my piccie is posted it will be better shown, not fitted to a car, but on one of me work benches, next to a dizzy I had in bits.

stu,its the top bolt, but once all in place its to long to get out,i ground wee bit of roll bar, that was enough, but if hadnt fitted was going to drop diff etc and grind bolt,i think you be best fitting mount to diff, see where the top bolt tightens up to,its the top edge that fowls, nearest the floor, mark bolt, then take it out and buff a chamfer on that top edge, then if still not fit you can buff wee bit of roll bar in situ,col93saphcos

ye just thought today about your anti roll bar being bigger, did a search on here and mike r was saying buff bit of bolt and bit of anti-roll bar,me having 18mm roll bar think got away with just a wee bit, wasnt much at all, countersink your plate and fit countersunk scews, then defo fit, think yours with bigger roll bar will fowl by more,col93saphcos
I spoke to my mate today who does all the stuff out of carbon fibre poly etc for mostly film work, about taking out the rubber in a std bush/housing and replacing with poly, his g/f who deals with most poly said around 300 grammes should do it for material, but I would need to make a new centre piece with a flanged centre(bolt) bit, as poly won't stick to metal readily, so it would move.
It would have to be dry cured poly, and would work out roughly £3 in material each one for the poly, so think I'll get a 1000 gramme tub, and experiment, as only £10, but if bought in bulk much cheaper, just shows how much profit is in poly!!
He's just moved units, and was sorting through moulds etc, he has to make the imitation guns in blue now, as only legal colour, but has moulds for claymore mines, hand grenades, rifles, armour, smg, etc etc, fascinating it was.

I'm not doing it due to any problems with mcracing one, it's still perfectly fine, just trying a cheaper and better way of doing things, it was suggested to just fill the space where there is no rubber on the std bush with poly, so will do this to start with, see how that is, I will try it myself first, the nice feature about this way would be std looks for the bufties, but the benefits of a fairly solid bush.
I've just been in talks about making some complete poly engine/box mounts for a load of jap cars, and again beefing up std ones.
The mc2racing one is a perfectly good bit of kit, but as other poly stuff disgustingly overpriced for the lack of work involved in them, not all but most.
To be honest the poly shouldn't really wear out in the diff area, due to lack of flex and movement.
I beleive mike r sells the mcracing ones, and these are defo a major step up from std, and well worthwhile getting, and mike is reliable too.

MC2 Racing are out of stock with the poly diff mount (anodised blue). Got that reply yesterday from them about it :
"I'm fairly certain that I just sold my last polyurethane diff mount this morning. I do have more on order, but they will take a few weeks to machine and another couple weeks for welding. You're welcome to purchase a diff mount, but please understand that it will take a long time before it ships. Ordering now does ensure that your diff mount will ship immediately once they're available."

They are by the end of the week going to be available in the uk, exactly the same as the mc2racing one, but a slight redesign will see it bolt straight on with no flush bolt kit needed, made here in Norfolk, various colours materials available, well under £100.

Appologies to all, seems that I badly worded the para above, the test samples will be ready, but liability and other aspects need looking into before saleable item is ready, as such Mike R is the best bet for mc2racing mount, on 01508 557822.

Well, it looks like I have a little competition in the polyurethane diff mount market now! Whereas I'm all for having new products available for our cars (heck, I've built a business around doing just that), I have to admit that I'm disappointed that someone simply produced a forgery of a currently-available part. Well, ethics aside, this is probably just an indication that the price is too high. So, I've slashed the price of the mc²racing polyurethane diff mount. They're available on EBAY right now:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=180397034474
...and Mike Rainbird (01508 557822) has plenty of inventory if you want a diff mount in your hands tomorrow rather than in 5 days.
