I spoke to my mate today who does all the stuff out of carbon fibre poly etc for mostly film work, about taking out the rubber in a std bush/housing and replacing with poly, his g/f who deals with most poly said around 300 grammes should do it for material, but I would need to make a new centre piece with a flanged centre(bolt) bit, as poly won't stick to metal readily, so it would move.
It would have to be dry cured poly, and would work out roughly £3 in material each one for the poly, so think I'll get a 1000 gramme tub, and experiment, as only £10, but if bought in bulk much cheaper, just shows how much profit is in poly!!
He's just moved units, and was sorting through moulds etc, he has to make the imitation guns in blue now, as only legal colour, but has moulds for claymore mines, hand grenades, rifles, armour, smg, etc etc, fascinating it was.
