Default Front hub nut torque on 4x4

Hi mates!
What is the torque of front hub nuts on 4x4?
Strange thig I saw in workshop manual.
On sierra there is a 205-235 Nm but on escort there is a 310-350 Nm
Hubs, bearings and nuts on sierra cosw turbo 4x4 and escort cosw turbo 4x4 are the same as I know.
Where is the truth mates? And if it's not a mistake in the manual, why the torques are so different for this cars?

On 2wd I saw in the same manual 310-350.
I'll try to post three prints from Cosworth Workshop Manual with three cars:
Sierra 2WD, Sierra 4WD and Escort.

last time i bought new front hub nuts from ford for my 1996 esc cos there where 2 different sizes listed for it... if i remember correctly the choices were either a 20mm or a 22mm nut so i meassured mine and they were 22mm. maybe thats why there are 2 different torque figures..

Sorry mate for misunderstanding. Of coarse this difference can affect on a torque figure.
And we have 205-235 Nm in a Sierra 4x4 case as we can see in a picture. Is that right?

Hi tabetha! Glad to see you here.

My trouble is that I used 205-235 Nm and it's less than 250lbft you use...

Thanx all mates!

Will try to increase torque up to 300-350 Nm but it's a strange thing with information in the manual.

I will admit to being confused as to why they need to be so tight, even on 2wd front.
