Default 1.8 Zetec mondeo kangarooing?

at about 2krpm any ideas? in third just crusiing/deacceleration.

it's a 115ps 1998 model

i serviced one years ago then it ran like shit,,,,,it was the leads. must of been when they were moved to fit new plugs,,

Try the air mass meter, this can cause Kangarooing if it fails

don't think it's leads as it feels like someone openning then closing the throttle as opposed to a missfire.

Coilpacks are notorious for packing up and is probably why it is doing so.

My old car had the same permanent problem, i put a new lambda sensor on it which seemed to make the problem intermittent, I then cleaned the air mass meter which sorted it!

air mass meter, right next to air box, un-plug it and if the problem goes then it needs changing.
