i fitted them a while back at a garage, there ok if you are doing the millage, work well with modern eng man you can set them up via a laptop as you have to fool the cars management for switching it on ie injectors,o2 sensors, you then splice in to the vehicles looms etc
various different ways with the fuel tanks aswell ie split tanks or fit them in your spare wheel well and so on
they say theres about a 5% power loss on gas tho.

yes small power loss.... Only worth it if you do mega mileage... I was doing 1000 miles a week so was well worth it.

I ran it on my LDV V8 service barge, made the van cost eefectiv enough for use daily, and i dint do alot of miles at all, the fact its over 50% cheaper the conventional fuel and you will use more per gallon than on petrol, but nothing like 50% more, the calorific value of LPG is less than petrol, so you need to burn more to get the same energy from it, i reckon on no measurable power loss, but got more like 3 mpg less on gas than on petrol, but the engines also run smoother on gas than petrol !

there is a lad running a evo on it because of the close ratio's motorway cruising is high rpm. iirc he said just doing a 400mile or summat not mega miles round trip saved him £100?
then can switch to fuel at the track

Aussies love it cause of the rebates they get, but from what I gether it's easier to tune with due to high octane ratings.

There is less power on LPG, no two ways about it, however that's on a dual fuel engine. I believe if an engine is setup from the start to run LPG then power is available, you can run more compression than with petrol, although you will use more LPG for the power than petrol but then it is cheaper.

The Aussies use it on turbo 4.1 straight 6 falcons. I think if done right it would be great yes.
