do you find they drink from still water? usually they wont and you have to teach them. You can sex them yourself when they are 3 months old by lifting their tail from behind and looking out for 1 or 2 lumps near the base of the tail where they poo. also the males have a few semetrical dimples under both their rear legs

Mine would never drink from water, so used to 'spray' them with a water mist a few times a day

so if they have one or two lumps this means they are male ?? and females have none ???

ive had mine for 4 years now! hes just over 18", i have never seen him drink,(still put fresh water in every other day) and ive never sprayed him, heard its bad for the skin! not sure how true tho! they get there fluid from there food, best thing is to get them eating veg when there young, saves you ŁŁŁŁ, he loves wax worn, he goes nuts even when he see's the yellow tub they come in (start head butting the glass trying to gey at them, hehe!)
i think i paid bout Ł250 for the set up and gizmo (lizzard) and after a 6-8 month i could take the tank back for a bigger one and he would take the price i paid for the small tank off the bigger one!
