Default Escort 1.6 zetec help required again please!

got a few problems AGAIN with my bolloxed zetec gonna wright a list of questions any help with them would be much much appriacted.

1.Blower does not work no air comes through even with aircon on been told its possible the resister.where abouts is is?? ive checked the fuses??

2. when start up after leaving my car theres a noise that sounds like someones dropped a few nuts and bolts in the engine. I suspect that my old coil (which was knackered) has killed the starter motor off, the reason I say this is becuase when u turn the engine off when its making this noise u can SOMETIMES not all the time take the key out of the ignition and its still turning over and making that chucking sound before start up. once its warm say after ten mins the noise goes and its fine its isnt losing any power when u drive whilst making this noise either
any ideas???

3. on the induction pipe into the engine (its a 1999 v reg so its not the alloy efi heads its the plastic manifold one) theres a a sensor on the housing about 15cm before the throttle body what is this sensor? is it an oxygen sensor and what is its purpose and how would i test is its faulty?

4. what head complete with all ancilliarys (maf, injectors cams ecu ) would fitt straight onto my 1.6 bottom end or am i wasting my time lol??

cheers for any help might one day get my car running properly

The resistor for the fan motor is usually mounted on the motor somewhere.
The noise and description sounds like the starter is staying energised, not good, most likely if it is a BOSCH starter the solenoid is jamming, they normally jam and refuse to move, rarely jam in the on position, easy cure though, and it's free!!
Take solenoid apart on starter and use someold wet and dry paper oiled to clean the inside surface of the solenoid and also the outside surface of the piston in it attached to the lever/pinion assembly.
What happens is the laquer comes off the inside of the solenoid and gets jammed between piston and surrounding space.
I would imagine this sensor is the air temp sensor.
