Heres a question for ya. did they all come with one or was it an option? ive only ever seen one and that was on my mates cossie. seems like a good idea so wondered if you can still get them or anyone got pics of them.

 

i have one there really hard to find mate i paid alot for mine but its mint...

another member on here wanted one i said i would try for him, i did find one and other bits i wanted but the seller then fobbed me of with some bullshitting cock story...

i did a steering rack on a drug dealers cossie years ago,the car was mint before he got it but he had wrecked it,that had an undertray and i kept it for my 24v sierra,i removed it and didnt bother putting it back on,ended up throwing it out when i moved garages.that was just before i discovered ebay or p/f!the dealer is inside now as he got caught with 30k in cash and loads of gear,he wrote off 1 2wd cos in spectacular fashion and stole coultless more rs's in his time.just scum.

 

I think most of them came with them on but they have properly been ripped off at some point.I wouldnt mind one for my car.It saves the drive getting covered in oil all the time.

I heard they got binned at 1st inspection, dunno how true that is but you don't see many with them

most mechanics bet pissed off with all undertrays and bin them and the customers never know tbh. i had one on my saff and i have a saff one in my shed but the lugs where it fits on are knackered. may try one day to fix it and adapt it to my escos.
wont be easy as its a bit mullered

Only ever fitted the 4x4 if I remember correctly....

Mine has one. I always get comment when I take it somewhere on the ramps. Don't see many of them do you!

I advertised 3 new ones on hare a couple of years back for about Ł60 each & no one was interested in them then.

 

i got one of ebay in germany years ago and fitted it to a 2wd

 

Did it require any mods to fit Nick? Or does it just screw on with those plastic type expandable screws?

 

It is fitted with 4 bolts 10mm mounted just behind the radiator mounting holes.

i honestly can't remember mike, it was ages ago. i seem to remember having to put some riv nuts in, but that could have been when i put it on the estate that was originally a 2.9 v6 and never had an undertray

 

I'd of bought a brand new one for that. Cossieshop on ebay was selling one for Ł300 and it sold

I would never of paid that...

 

ive got one at my mums house i took it off my 4x4 it only had 40,000 miles so its in good nick . i took it off to change the sump gasket and forgot to put it back on when i sold the car i thought about putting it on ebay but i didnt think it would sell.what are they worth?

 

Depending on condition, if its mint I would put it up for at least Ł75, that's half of what they were new

its got a couple of scrapes on it but iam sure theres no cracks or damage to the bolt holes.might put it for sale on here before ebay and see if any one local to me wants it.

What size and length
bolts do these need ?

 

iirc it's m6(the 10mm headed bolt's..lol) i think mine were about 25-30 mm long.
