Default L8 ecu HELP

i got this ecu out off my 4x4 saph ,i've just open it to put a stage 3 chip in it on a baby board. As you can see the ecu ain't got the connection for the little pug with the blue cables. Can someone tell what the is going on or what ecu it is.CAr was running fine with the ecu and standard chip in it just a bit slow.
thank lee.

strange as the casing is an L8 but the inside board looks to be a L6 maybe some 1 has swapped the boards over at some stage

well if you can a l8 to a 2wd then cant see a problem with using a l6 in a 4x4 would need to see if the 2 wires have been swapped on the tps just like you do when you fit a l8 to a 2wd

prob totaly wrong but thats how i see it

you could use an L1 as long as you have the correct chip for the slightly bigger (iirc) 'blue' injectors.

you have 3 options.

1) use L1 with the correct chip

2) use 'yellow' injectors

3) keep the 'blue' injectors and use an L8 with standard chip
