Hi people the next scotch corner all ford meet is on the 26th of july at 2 pm. Its in the hotel car park at the rear as usual. We had a massive turn out in march when the magazines came. I hope you all come back again. Can i just say please can we have no body doing wheel spins or no loud music cause if we upset the owners of the hotel we will be stopped from having anymore ford meets. I hope this doesnt happen cause the meets are really popular in the north east of england.i hope to see you all there again.

No bother mate hope to see you there. Have you put then scotch corner stickers on your car. If anyone else wants any stickers to advertise the meets they are 2 quid each;

Free weekend in June?? I am at at shows every Sunday in June!! As for the date clashing with Pickering i am very sorry but due to the hotel having various things on we are only able to have the 26th. It is very hard to get a date when nothing else is on once the show season starts, as there are a lot of smaller shows that people like to go to as well as the larger shows. Also the hotel is under new ownership so i am dealing with different people, which makes it a bit more difficult than it was. But as i said very sorry about the clash of dates but it really cannot be helped.

 

Its also Ruths birthday on that day too so i dont think i will be there for long anyway.

 

Andy what shows are you going to in June?

 

6th/7th Chatsworth Rally Show, 14th North Yorkshire County Show,21st Wings and Wheels at Elvington and on the 28th Lancashire Classic Car Show.

It is a shame Andy. You know though mate, we have never missed a scotch corner meet in 2-3 yrs?? Not that I can remember anyways. We missed pickering last yr but as you say cant be helped when there is so much on in the show season!! We see what our head count is like for the pickering show and maybe come up late afternoon!!

To be honest mate i am busy most weekends from now until the end of the season! My big one this year is FordFair which i am doing with ClassicFord, Thats why i won't be at Santa Pod this year as i can't afford to do both!
As for the date of the next meet you can never please everyone!

 

Andy you should try and call in to one of our meets mate!! next one this sunday if you have an hour to spare??
