shes smoking again...What needs doing?

When the engine is labouring, before boost and sometime during, the old girls smokes - is it likely to be turbo smoke or piston rings? is there a way of telling?

Do a compression check on each cylinder to see if it's the piston rings.

If I took my car in to NMS for a set up would they check the compression as part of it?

or would I have to ask?
