Default pulling my hair out ? help needed

as i have posted before have recently rebiuld my engine completly
the car has had bad fuel in deisel /petrol mix

pluming grey smoke on tick over ran the car till completly out of fuel
engine was running at correct temp
replaced with fresh fuel
cleared with slight smoke on boost
left over night again fill my road with smoke on tick over and running

do these run completly empty or would there still be bad fuel in the bottom of the tank
secondly with the amount of smoke unable to run on the road
any surgestions on the proplem
only part i have not changed engine wise is injectors and turbo

The only time my car produced that much smoke was when the head gasket had gone and I had water getting into one of my chambers!!

The tank won't have run totally dry so theres still a good chance of derv being in there to mix

i may be wrong but isnt diesel heavier than petrol so over night it would settle to the bottom where your fuel pick is an get sucked up first?
