Default 2Wd saph, relays in fuse box, which is which???

Ok looked at this the other day, loads of relays and roman numerals, but what does each relay in this box actually do, did a bit of a search and found out that "X1" is supposed to be the ECU, but there's about 10 more i've no idea what they're for.

Cheers! I'll have a look through that, checked the fuse box last night, nothing "obvious" there unfortunately!

What relay are you looking for?
The main relay and the fuel pump relay are under the dash near the ecu.

Fuel pump is wired into the rear tail light for some reason, and the whole dash doesn't work, well apart from the dash illumination, indicators and the full beam, there's no battery light, oil light, temp, fuel or RPM.

No relays for engine management etc are in fuse box, there is a yellow relay there for the cooling fans (Yellow) which I suspect is the one getting hot if there running at the time you touch it.

All the relays fuses etc for ABS and engine management are behind the dash passenger side, the ECU relay is yellow and the fuel pump is purple. (Can be seen by looking underneath dash to save removing they are clipped up)

In you are getting no power at pump and hear a clicking it will most likely be the relay at fault.

I don't agree with you on that. It's more likely the switched feed is missing.

When OP says 'clicking' I assumed that to be the relay contacts not making a full connection in a continuous loop but yes I to would agree if you hear a 'click' when ignition is on then what he ^^ said.

i took out wat i thought was the fuel pump relay the number on it is 78EG11406CA and the one from the fuse box which is gettin hot is 81AG14N089CA they are both yellow so u are sure that the fuel relay is yellow and i also saw on another post with some one having a yellow relay but bought a new one but it was purpel

IIRC as I said above the ECU relay is yellow and the fuel pump relay is purple.
