Default Saph diff help!

Hi there, i have a 2wd saph and have taken the back plate off of the diff, can anyone tell me if there is suppose to be a gasket between the diff and the back plate as mine does not seem to have one of any sort. Also whilst the cover was off i checked inside and the oil is very dirty, i have removed the oil but there are still bits inside which i cant get to, what can i clean the inside out with without taking it all apart.

any suggestions? cheers.

Hello,
You can clean it with a grease remover like "tix", You haven't any the gasket between the diff and the back plate, you can use a good quality silicone of a sealant like the Curil T ( green )
Sorry I can't give more explaination because I haven't enough mechanical vocabulary
and I'm come from Belgium
I hope that's help you

A detail don't forget the oil, LOL
use a good quality limited split oil, Mobil 85W90LS for example
