Hi i have a mk5 escort cabriolet xr3i it was obiously a 1.8 zetec engine but i recently fitted the fiesta rst engine but i do not know how i go about the steering can i fit a non-power steering rack or just buy some parts from a cvh engined mk5 cabriolet???? if anyone could tell me what parts i need i would really appreciate it.

 

i wouldnt fit a non-power asisted rack i would try and fit a pump tothe engine first, maybe 1 off a 1.4 cvh in the later escorts. manuel rack woul ba the lastoption
