Default A moment for kyle

I just want to post a little note for kyle(CHIZ) cos everybody has spent loads of time rebuilding a mkII cortina with him and now the car went for it's MOT and the long and short is that if we didn't know the tester really well it would have got a do not drive.

It's breaking his heart and he feels like he has let everyone down.
Not the case

I suggested now, strip the car, cut it in half and use one end of the car as a barbecue when blue oval scotland move to the new garage.

what's the thoughts?

it's more a case of the guy that had it before kyle used cataloy on the back end underneath and made it look like welding beads. the tester hit the back end and most of it fell off. the chassis is twisted and the spring hangers were bouncing around because the back end of the car is made of chocolate.

I can vouch for the number of hours gone into this car by everyone and realise why kyle is a bit peeved shall we say, I remember when it had to get moved for a bit and me and chiz towing it with no brakes at all, interestin to say the least!

Not to worry mate, we'll all piss ourselves about it soon and now you can get crackin on that mk1 Cortina!!

Occasionally somethings have to die for others to live on Swap the best bits over to something new/different and the past will just become a distant memory

until the bank statement comes in

Failing that stick it on ebay

Good luck & chin up whatever happens

I believe the car is getting stripped to its bones and the shell crushed - there's 2 x mk1 Cortina's and an Anglia 105e waiting for a rebuild in the garage so every part will have its use
