god car insurance does my head in i cant insure my 3dr for under 1700 at the min

im 25 i have 3 points on me licence i have 3 years no claims i live in birmingham at postcode are b13 0hn an the insurance will not come down it doin my head in iv had the insurance for 1000 which i dont mind paying but 1700 takes the mick if i cant get it any cheaper im gona have to sell my pride an joy

The postcode is pretty high rated, it's up there with some of the highest in the country. But at 25 years old with 3 years NCB the premiums you're getting do seem high.

Having checked our database there have not been any applications from your specific postcode recently so I assume that you hadnt tried us yet.

We would have to refer to our scheme underwriters due to the postcode, but decent vehicle security, the experience that you have had with the vehicle (ie. length of ownership/Insuring), length of residence at the current property and vehicle location will all have a bearing and would be useful when negotiating with scheme Insurers on your behalf.
