im changing a sierra from automatic to manual its a k reg 2litre twin cam model

also putting in a 1.6 engine as specified to racing( special rods at mendips)

is it just a straight engine and gearbox swap and pedal box?

also anyone know the factory standard power of a 2litre twin cam in injection?

Standard power is 123 BHP, what box are you thinking of using with the 1.6?

If you have got 1.6 CVH then it may be worth the engine conversion over the twinky as you can't tune these very well.

im hoping to use a 4speed 1.6 box ( 4 speed cos of size of the track) the engine is having a full rebuild before putting in

the 1.6 is from a ford p100 does it make a difference its not from a sierra? and yes the 1.6 is a pinto

No should just be a straight swap with the 1.6 and box not sure about the final drive and diff though for the auto final drive may be diffrent on the auto.

Is it a 1.6 CVH or Pinto?

I know the final drive on my d reg sierra 2L(pinto) was 3.38:1, rather than the more common 3.62:1.
