Got my turbo in, all piped up, wired up, injectors in, everything!!

Start the engine, what do you know!? the oil feed hose it leaking at the 90 degree bend on the turbo side!

What could cause this? a crappy crimped connector, becuase the other connector doesn't seem to turn as much as the leajing one!... Or could it be too much pressure in the turbo (blockage? possible?) that's causing the line to pressurise so much that it started leaking?

I have no idea, gonna try turning the feed around and see if it leaks from the other connector this time ..

Thought i would have been boosting tonight but that let me right down!

 

get a new pipe, or do as i did - use an erst one

 

aye i'll take it back tomorrow and get it redone, got a bit of excess to play with anyway!

so could it be anything wrong with the turbo that would make it leak? i wouldn't have thought so but when my mate said that the turbo might be blocked and pressuer building up i had to think about it

just pee'd off coz all that effort i put into it at the weekend, and my bodge job works a treat, just a professional guy doing a professional jobs fecks up a simple pipe! tut tut

not yet mate, it's only a temporary(sp) install at the moment and things are a bit tight but should be fine!.. get my welder in a week so i'll be making up a new manifold within a few weeks and sort things out properly.

I'll get pics tomorrow if i'm not too busy!

got the hose sorted today, put it in and no leaks at all!


just waiting for my neighbour to get home to see if he can weld up my exhaust for me tonight!

any more info on what route youve gone down with regards to fueling? mapable 5th inj? TT DCU? or done it how graceland did it?
