Just done one side but found it very difficult to get the strut out of the hub, it seemed to be free but the hub wasnt dropping far enough so i could easily get it out.

Is there a simple way to get the strut out.

 

leave the top nut on, take the bolt on, and kick down on it, simply as tht, if its tight, WD40 helps.but it goes plenty far down enuff to get it out!

 

Thats what i did but it took ages and just pushing down on the hub didnt move it enough, i ended up using a huge bar to prise it down.
