After mine spinning a bearing after Central Day :x :-? i have been looking into changing the rods and pistons in the Xr2i block i had rebuilt last year. Car is Fiesta XR2i

But a bit unsure what rods and pistons to go for, Looking for uprated as it will have a fairly hard life looking to Fast Road,Track and Drag the car.

i have seen these what do people think...??

I have got stg 3 head with double valve springs but was looking for solid lifters and cam to match... (Kent,newman etc...)

Car has already got beige injectors (new) cossie pump, t3, Pro Alloy front mount,

I have a fiqure of about 220bhp i would like to achive

Hope you can help.... please discuss....

I would go for the ones with pec rods as the other seller says about crap china made rods by doesn't give the name of his. Seems strange. Also beige injectors won't be suitable for 220 bhp I don't think.
