Am i being really thick here or something? I can't seem to find the washer bottle for my front screen anywhere under the bonnet. The motor to my front jets isn't doing anything when i press the button so i need to investigate to get it working come mot time. Someone point me in the right direction please, i know there is one in the boot, does this supply the front screen too?

PS its an S1

 

the s1 front washer bottle is in between the inner & outer wings, the neck of the bottle should come out of a hole at the front of the passenger side inner wing, to access the bottle jack the car up and u will be able to see the bottle and pump

the boot washer bottle only supplies the rear screen

 

Mine must have had welding or something in the past as its not there

 

if there is no hole near the front of the passenger inner wing for the bottle neck to come through then your car may of had the inner wing replaced at some point with a xr3i or rs16i inner wing

the xr3i used a rectangular shaped washer bottle which mounted onto the inner wing in the engine bay

the rs16i used a round shaped washer bottle which mounted onto the inner wing in the engine bay

have you checked between the inner and outer wing to make sure there is no bottle there?

try tracing the piping back from the washer jets and see where it goes too
