Air con rad sits in front if i remember right. The engine rad is the larger one of the two, and it will have 2 black rubber pipes attached to it, the air con rad will have smaller metal pipes.
If it is the air con rad, then if it isnt leaking then I would leave it alone, as it can be costly to replace. If it does start to leak then it isnt the end of the world.

You should use the air con mate, as there is oil in there which needs to circulate to lubricate the seals to keep it all leak free, if it starts to leak the a/c will stop working which will cost a bit to fix when it comes to selling the car on!!
Just a few minutes once a month is enough

Well it is more fuel efficient to have the air con on when doing more than 40ish mph than the drag that is caused by the windows being open!
In the summer I use air con with the climate control all the time, and to be honest I never notice any decrease in MPG.
If it leaks it wont affect the car, however the gas is highly poisionous (its got cfc's in it) so not a good idea if its parked in a garage over night etc.
If it does leak out, moisture will get into the system over time which will knacker the insides of the pipes and the condenser, which isnt going to be cheap to repair!

Air con system don,t have radiators, they have condensers. Most manufactures use a dye in the 134a gas so if you do have a leek it,s easy to spot.
New radiator = Ł130
new condenser =Ł150
Air-con regas =Ł50
Condensor is in front of the radiator.
The cooling fins (ziz zag type paper )can work loose and hang down but as long as the cooling ducts are not damaged it should be fine.
