Hi rick
well ive taken you advice and ive got a MF2 driver 5th injector going on jan 5th and all remapped and fitted by power eneineering also on monday im ordering a pro alloy BIG intercooler so hopefully all that will make a difference
also later on im gonna get steel rods , MLS headgasket , big valve head and while all thats off I was maybe gonna put new cam and followers in (depending on condition) and just wondered what these would be like

yeah id like to know this,because there about Ł100 for a set and wanna know if its worth it
the difference is a softer spring inside
the normal followers have fairly strong springs in, so if you get valve bounce the lifters take up the extra space right away. anti pump ones with softer springs are much slower to react so dont take up the extra space (not in the amount of time you would sensibly be in that situation at least!
)
thats how i understand it anyway!
remember kids, always change cams and followers together, if you want the parts to last longer than a few k anyway! ( 4k im my case
) ah well important lesson learned!

run anti-pump lifers in mine, never had a problem, Im also using double valve springs in my big valve head!
As stated before there made for high reving egines. Solid lifters is the more extreme way to go!
Would be intesting to chop one up thou! anybody got any old ones, and angle grinder???
