hi

my brothers got a standard s2 rs and it doesnt like starting, it will start on the first turn of the key but then stalls and can do this 2 or 3 times before it fires up . can anyone please tell me what is causing this

does he try to rev it when it starts or does e just leave pedal alone, plus does it sound like it's firing on 3 or lumpy when it is doing this

when he starts it first off he touches the throttle to try and keep it running , but as soon as he does it dies does this 2 or 3 times and it runs. a couple of times it just seems as if its flooded keep turning the key and it will start but run lumpy for a couple of seconds and then clears

Try unplugging the cold start valve at back of inlet.

ive unplugged the cold start valve and it doesnt seem to be any better

any other ideas please

Seems like flooding
