Default recaro seats undwind themselves

a mate told me years ago that if my recaros ever started to unwind themselves to let him know as he knew how to fix them...........years have passed and i cant remember who told me! and i cant still be mates with them as ive asked all my other mates too!

anyone on here know how to sort it? ive got FRST seats in my escort at the mo and they do it aswell but not as bad as the 88 spec seats i had before. can anyone shed any light on how to fix em cz they are in quite good nick so would be a shame for that to be letting them down. thank you

My XR3i cabriolet did this once, all i did was tighten the reclining screw on the side of the seat, sorted.

i bought some of the option xr2i recaros and the passenger one does this when no one is sitting in it. I hate it as i have to put it back into place when i get out the car as i hate them being uneven when the car is parked up

ive tried tightening the screw on the recliner but it has no joy.

isnt it the plastic bushes where the reclining hooks go round (on the base, at the back) they wear, seat moves about causing it to recline?

ok so lots of people have the same problem but there seems to not be much of a fix other than tightening up the bolt and something to do with the washer... will try it all out! thanks guys

mine do this, but nothing major, yet. I put it down to the kids bashing the seat forward once they'd got in the back. Looks like they're off the hook now then LOL

I'll try fix them today with these solutions above
