One of a few things :-

1) Not getting a valid crank signal
2) VR pots not set up correctly in the Ecu
3) Cranking threshold not setup right in calibration
4) Broken ecu/wiring

does my tfi module count for anything on the pulsing side of things as ive ben trying to find what the wires actualy do but i can only find things for the ranger 2.9 so ive been going of that wiring, the wires i have are

blue/yellow pip out
blue/red spout in
black/green cranking start pwr
black run start pwr

Well yes, if the crank sensor is being fed into the TFI module, and then the ECU is relying on the PIP signal to know when to fire the injectors. Have you configured the ECU for TFI inside Megatune?

Does it say "cranking" in megatune when you crank the engine?

No, but is flood clear lit up? If so then it means you've got a problem with the TPS, or you haven't calibrated it! Flood clear mode disables the injectors from firing!

Yeah sounds like you have your TPS wired up backwards..

Once you've sorted that, go and re-calibrate the TPS in MT and then set your flood clear value to be maybe 20 or so below the max TPS value (at full throttle).. (remember what the high number is when calibrating).
