you really need to figure out your end game before you go willy nilly buying bits as you might end up with something over spec'd for it's purpose i'e road car you want lots of response and less lag and around 220 real horses for which standard head would do, as for your question i've got 2 heads in front of me and one cost double the other and the cheaper one is better ported and shaped so it's not just a case of the more you throw at it the better it will be, also the cheaper one is proven to over 350bhp and 160mph+

im making a trackday inspired car mate. I'll not disclose the spec but im going for a reasonable power level with the power more towards the top end. Other than track days the car will be going to shows etc so it will be far far far from a daily driver.

Good advice tho all the same mate and cheers

ians engines were always designed for response and driver friendlyness and not for massive power but he designed better components each time and gained more bhp , mine was specced for 460bhp and ended up doin 522bhp because the new parts we tried and they worked.
Go with ian mate as he will back his work by giving you a no quibble money back guarentee you cant ask for better than that.
