Any body know of a mobile helicoiler or some one who is able to remove a snapped heade bolt from a block in situ

It shouldnt need helicoiling but they are the dudes who canremove snapped bolts arent they?

any help apreciated, I would have a go at removing it myself as I know you can buy stud extraction kits but I dont wona fuck it up any more

its about an inch into the block

I take it the thread is very tight, and that is what caused it to snap ?, if so the square snap on easy out would likely be best, although decent glass hardened ones might do it.

I managed to get a kit from Halfords in the end as me mate Spud found out they sell a cheapo set

then me mate Tim came over and did it for me

Jesus u were lucky!! i used the same set to try and get a caliper bleed nipple out and the fooker snapped on me so the calipers are now going in the scrap bin

Althou its less likely to happen with the bigger bits admitedly!

You were very lucky with those bits as used them myself, weak as shit, broke on me as well, only bought as didn't have snap on one small enough, but after it snapped I got a tapered one from snap on, did the job.
Glad you got it sorted now anyway.
