Stud extraction, snapped head bolt? Birmingham
Any body know of a mobile helicoiler or some one who is able to remove a snapped heade bolt from a block in situ
It shouldnt need helicoiling but they are the dudes who canremove snapped bolts arent they?
any help apreciated, I would have a go at removing it myself as I know you can buy stud extraction kits but I dont wona fuck it up any more
its about an inch into the block
cheers, Kev.

Jesus u were lucky!! i used the same set to try and get a caliper bleed nipple out and the fooker snapped on me
so the calipers are now going in the scrap bin
Althou its less likely to happen with the bigger bits admitedly!

You were very lucky with those bits as used them myself, weak as shit, broke on me as well, only bought as didn't have snap on one small enough, but after it snapped I got a tapered one from snap on, did the job.
Glad you got it sorted now anyway.
