what bottom end from a zetec is best to use for a ZVH engine setup? i take 2.0 being the best but is the silvertop or blacktop bottom ends any different strenght wise?

also what kind of work is needed to mate the cvh head to the zetec bottom end on this conversion?

Ive been told use the silver top engine. dont know why tho?

 

Less machine work to the block where the water pump fits, bigger main caps and theres other reasons that i can't think of right now

 

Silver top is the easier one to work with..

 

silvertop has stronger main caps alltho a black top is strong enouth any way use the search bit at the top of the page this has been gon through many times
