can someone please tell me where the immobiliser unit is on a L reg granada it's the bosch system with the little red led on the instrument cluster.

think from memory that it is under the centre console ... just checked on etis and the section for pats is not on there any more ... but will keep looking

as far as im aware its behind the stereo area, remove ash tray cd and tape deck and bingo

should be black box

 

found it thanks guys. to left behind the stereo next time i look there i'll open my eyes!!!!!

it is behind the stereo.. but right far back, its only a little box about 3 or 4 inch size.. and its hard to get it out without ruining your arms. unless your really small. somewhere on the net there is a way of bypassing the immobiliser, i had a chap do it on my old car and it worked.
