First thing I'd do is try and find the nice hard plastic rear spoiler off a GLSi - they look so much better than the black vinyl one.

Other than that, depends what you fancy. A nice set of alloys will improve it no-end, as well as dropping it a few mm - they sit a little high don't they

What engine's it got? The twin cam 2.0 or is it cursed with a CVH?

 

its the 2 ltr, am an escort man maself but they too bloody dear noo so was gonna get a saff to do a cossie rep, this came up so i got it to rip all i could off it for spares for a saff cos i got it for next to nothing, but having had a good look at the car its a shame to break it cos apart fae rusty arches on the drivers side its a solid old bus and it drives better than my car i use on the road ! the problem is the shape, would feel like a twat doin it like a cossie cos it just wont look right,either gonna go for xr4x4 or maybe a gt if u got them wae 4 doors.
