Default S2 suspension kits....

Im looking to buy a suspension kit for my S2, ive looked at Gaz coilovers but read somewhere christian wasnt happy with them (due to a problem with them, cant remember what the problem was, plus the rear turrets need seem welding ? is this correct ?), ive also considered Koni's but for £20 more you could buy the Gaz coilovers, what do people run on there S2's and any other choices besides the 2 ive mentioned ie G-max, AVO etc any help would be greatly appreciated

I think its important not to be led by price. The Gaz's that are only slightly more than the Koni's are the basic ones. Personally, for a road car, I'd go with the Koni's and a set of nice springs.

I'm yet to use mine with the Gaz Golds on it, so can't really comment. They were a ball-ache to fit though and yes, strengthening is required.

I've got GAZ gold coilover on mine as the suspension setup I have requires them, and for a road car I would recommenced Koni adjustable with a 25 mm drop which as it happens my car had previously

IIRC it's 25mm drop for an RS and 35mm drop for my Cabby (they sit higher in the first place).

I bought them through amber perforamnce as they are just down the road.

Spax said 10 day wait because of the springs as they must make them to order, however, the still showed up in 2 days !!
