Default Sensor inside Dizzy, mines Toast . Where can I get a new one

Hi All
The two wires leading to the sensor inside the Dizzy of my 2WD Sierra motor have passed their last of Henry's finest 12V's. Both cable insulations have broken down. Looks like its shorted out at some point in its life.

Looking on the Microcat system there does'nt appear to be a separate part specced by Ford, as the FINIS number only cover the whole Dizzy body. (£180 +vat)

Is this sensor available separate ? either Ford or copy
How much am I looking to get one for ?
Where can I get one from ?
Should I be looking for a replaceent Dizzy instead ?

Cheers

You should be able to get the phaze sensor seperatley, microcat may show it
somewhere else on the system. Think there about £40. Did the parts person
check the "superwindow" ???

£40?!?!?!

Mate pick up any ford mag and have a look as anywhere and everywhere sells em!!! Most places call em a Phase Sensor. When i bought mine it was about £20 but obviously prices do change. U can get a geuine replacement so dont be changing the dizzy!!! just make sure its gapped properly if u re-fit it urself

Get 'em from Fiat. Really!
Think it's one of the punto models.

Plenty of the usual tuner 'names' will sell the sensor on it's own - you should be paying about £25.
Certainly Woodford sell them - www.woodfordgaragemotorsport.co.uk
Could also try Matt at ML Developments, maybe Stu @ MSD does them?
