Just got my dream car and have been told that the two problems mine has are quite common and worst of all you can't even get replacement parts now!

1) Centre guages have 'discoloured' at night and cannot be repaired (new part £300 odd quid!)

2) Airflow and speed dial lights have just gone out although the temp still works. Part un-available but can be repaired by taking a feed from the temp light.

Any other Escos owners had the same?

 

I had the dials go on and off - changed the voltage converter or whatever that is called and everything works fine. The other fings you have problems with- try brakers on the forums - somebody rolled Escos some time ago so there are those parts from it probably.

yeah,i fitted a set of those on mine,no more blotches!!

 

where did you get them from, as gonna need some for mine and if that post dont pick up ill have to find another source

 

i got them direct from the company,they made me a one off set in m/p/h

 

I'm picking them up really soon AJ.
Have patience for a few more days please and I'll report back in that forum to close everything off.

 

Mine are a bit blotchy too, but i can live with it atm.
