i've been looking for some on and off for a while and the going rate for any genuine ones seems to be 170 - 200 for a full kit depending on condition.

Is GRP plastic? is that easier to work with. i dont want shite ones and will pay for genuine ones but they're only going to be hacked up for my orion anyway so if theres no difference i cant see a point ruining a gen set.

p.s obviously i know the plastic wont be the same but i meant if anyone has fitted those or the the fiberglass ones, whats the quality like etc.

ive got genuine ones that would be ideal for a mk4 as they are damaged at the bottom..only 1 side skirt tho..let me know if your interested

cheers for the offer i'll definatly keep it in mind. i might get a tatty gen one then and tart it up abit. its not like its a "bolt on" mod for an orion anyway theres always some cutting and shaping involved.

 

I fitted a S1 kit to a mk2, i dont think it really suited it to be honest!the fibre glass kits will fit well with plenty of work,heres a pic of wht it looked like:

 

oh cool, see now i really like that. with some phat rims to fill the arches i'd really like that. i looks like you've tried to blend the rear arch in in the second pic? i dont like that so much. i'd leave it looking "stick on"

whats the length like for the skirts mate? is there much chopping needed?

 

GRP is fibreglass mate.the sideskirt length is the same as a s1.
orion,4door escort and 3 door escort are same length from arch to arch mate.
3 door escorts just have longer doors

 

I agree with you, love the Orion in your signature, that's how they are supposed to be
But that S1 skirted job just looks wrong to me

mojo, ive got a genuine S1 kit for sale...ideal too if its to cut up for a mk2 onion...dont want a lot for it, but posting might be a problem.
