for people with airtec mk2 coolers
just want to know what intercooler you had on your car before getting the airtec mk2 only what acts your hitting before and after .how much in bhp before and after. And how much did you have to turn your boost up to compensate for the flow rate on the new cooler a bit like the early grs ones i. only asking this as alan has done me a nice deal on one for me run about got 200bhp on half pace with piss poor acts about 55-65 lol this should bring this down to 35-40 i been told. but how well do these flow ??? i had an stg 3 turbo on it but took it off as it was laggy as my head is std and only works well with a good flowing head lol. any input please.

Well I fitted my new airtec today was quite easy to do. Not to sure about the metal brackets and bolts it comes with had to use better ones. Had to bend the latch to shut. Will be getting it set up very soon just need to get a new act gauge now!!! But i am sure it will be better then my old pace lol

ive got the series 1 single pass airtec intercooler. im running 28 psi. i gained 27lbs/ft more than when i had the pro alloy front mount. very happy with it ! act's dropped from 47 degrees to 36 degrees !
I bought the airtec intercooler and alloy rad what a diffrance in power. Getting her setup next week so i will find out how much boost u can run thro them. Have a look at the pics on my profile mate.

airtec is really good stuff and if on a budget are very good for price cant be knocked for that, got good results too on the fast ford test one of the best on the day,
the test was on a saph mine you runner up to pro alloy that will take some beating if i was running a turbo'd ford i know what i be running

Just scrapped my GRS front mount for An Airtec front mount.
spend to much time trying to get the intercooler on with the gog spot lights, without having to chop up the bumper and fitting bonnet pins, looks like thats another intercooler to be chucked at the back of my garage(GRS & Forge).
Im very confident that my airtec rad, turbo cooler and front mount trio will work very well.
Will get some pics up after i finished.

Has Anyone had problems fitting Airtec Single Pass Front Mount intercooler with Spot lights??
Also, what about bonnet catch? Bend it is needed??
spot lights are possible, alan has told me some of their valued customers have done this, yeah bend the catch, or fit bonnet pins.
yes minor trimming is needed on 88spec
