sofar ive been at it an hour and i've only got the oil pressure sender put in, and the gauge lights wired up

gonna have to take the afternoon off to get it finished today whilst it's still light! lol

f**k me it's COOOOOOLD outside

ok, a few cuts, a few tears and 2 10a fuses later ...

i now have 2 working gauges... woohoo...

volts and oil pressure both successfully wired in (and they now don't turn off when i turn the lights on )

still got water temp to doo... need a deep reach 13mm socket to swap the sender over tho...

also i better hope my gauge mounting thingie turns up sharpish, coz the big bit of card thats holding them in at the moment looks shitter than a shit thing that's shit

You did quite well

but my RST is only holding 15 psi at the moment and feels quite slow Got to get back to Powers and have it set up and holding the usual 18 psi

Pops is there a law against accelerating as fast as you like upto the speed limit?

sorry andy but phil's right there... lol

anyway update on the gauge situation (i know nobody cares, but just let me be, ok )

ok the taped in bit of card dash install went down well at southend lastnight so i've made a new and improved bit of card up

gonna cover it in... wait for it... gaffer tape to give it that "bling" effect

anyhw, finally got the wire for the water temp sender in the bay n connected, just need to put the actual sender into the engine and i'm ready to rock i must also point out that the original ford sender came apart in my hands when i tried to take the plug off of it... lol

and i now also have a 17mm spanner stuck to one of my screwdrivers (long story... )

anyway, gonna check dimensions on the temporary panel and hopefully get something working by the end of the day
