Anyone know if this is available and, if so, from who?

Is it crazy-expensive?

 

Most 'Day Insure' companies only cover standard vehicles. Not modified.

 

I couldn't find anyone offering it on modified cars.

So I asked for quotes from 4 insurers regularly mentioned on here.
So far two have replied but one is quoting almost exactly double the rate offered by the other.

 

3rd company have just quoted telling me they have a minimum premium of £500.

That's even more than number 2!
