General Car Related Discussion. To discuss anything that is related to cars and automotive technology that doesnt naturally fit into another forum catagory.
Whichever way you look at it he abused trust misplaced in him and got nothing less than his actions deserve is what is being said is correct.
Passing sensitive information from the staff room to general members of the forum is simply not right. Its sly, dishonest, opportunist and promotes the question what is being done to ensure no other members of staff act in this manner.

The facility is there only for Admin.
Moderators cannot read PM's
As far as i am aware, since it has been implemented, it has NEVER been used. It is there only as precaustion. Ther have been known cases of things happening over PM that have resulted in criminal proceedings on other forums.

Maria,
Thanks for the clarification but it all depends on permissions and not user group types.
Otherwise Tony would be an admin...
Does this mean PF considers suspected illegal trading on PF as a criminal act in english law...LOL

there is something along the lines of "whatever you put onto the site becomes the property of the host" or words to that effect when you sign up, so yes, they can read your pm's
it's not right but it's ok to do it? before this becomes a whitney houston song though, think about this:
i remember a tale about a certian person "reading" pm's and then acting on them
i can't remember who it was, i can't remember what happened, but it was personal info and it sort of didn't look right, even though, at the time, those invovled who had the knowledge were perfectly leagally allowed to look and discuss matters
i'm sure others will come along with similar storys but even if i could reemmber the specifics of this one, i fear that posting it would lead to more trouble than it's worth
