Default how to wire, Air/fuel ratio gauge in a erst

As above, Bought one also got a lamba sensor with it,
I know that i have to get a nut welded on my down pipe but thats it ,
Just wonderd if they are ok with mfi ,
Its second hand so got no instructions,
There is a RED ,BLACK, PURPLE, wire ??
Any advice cheers rob.....

They are oke with mfi, no problem
I think red is +12 volt
Black is earth and purple will be your signal for your gauge

How many connections are there on your gauge?

yeah 3 wires on the sensor but how many on the gauge? I think there will be only one connection on the gauge isn't it?

Sorry 3 wires on the gauge mate, and on the lamba sensor there is a triangl shaped plug, that has 3 wires in it , 2 white 1 black

If it's a cheap narrow-band kit, dont bother. Waste of time. It will do more harm than good. It may lead you into a false sense of security, by making you think all is OK, when perhaps it isn't.

Oh ive got a lamber sensor from a cossy, is it really that bad? It is a
Auto meter PRO-COMP ultra light

Terrible mate. Sorry. It's a pointless decoration and in all honesty a decent wideband will just show you how poor K-Jet fuelling is on a tuned RST, you're better not knowing if you ask me!! LOL.

Connect it to the Throttle Position Sensor instead then. At least the lights will flash as you plant the throttle.
