was one on my 3dr - utter shite,

the welds were appalling, spatter all over, rubbed on the anti-roll bar every 500miles,one of the pipes butted up to the silencer at 45`

when i went to stage 3 it strangled the engine, went straight out and got a mongoose-world of difference

sorry if its slightly off topic not being an s2 but its my experience

on an RS a powerflow would be a no no, they just arent exactly designed with performance in mind

have a cat back system on my vectra sri daily though, mainly cos it worked out loads cheaper than a standard centre section replacement and irmscher back box from vauxhall. sounds nice too.

lads at my local powerflow are good welders aswel though, so that helps, quality elsewhere can be hit and miss, iv seen other powerflow systems that look like nursery kids welded it with a fisher price 'my 1st MIG'

my mongoose was fitted 1st time out whilst absolutely knackered n half asleep in the middle of the night after a massive day converting the car, and even then we managed to get it fitting perfectly in pretty quick time! lol

mongoose systems fit great, the welds and the general quality is great, plus they seem to sound the best too wouldnt like to say which gives best performance, although if christian is saying mongoose, i guess theres my answer lol

The welding is top notch as is the sound of them, but my 3.5 inch just doesnt fit as well as the others, i will be sticking with it though and eventually get it fitting perfect!!!!

Depends on whether you're after the best fit or the best performer. Mongoose has been proven for years. Scorpion always had the issue of using very small bore pipework through the silencer.

Preferably i would like both both lol, but have always had magnex and scorpion on my other 6 rst's so desperatly wanted a mongoose, i just want it to fit reasonably well!!!

Mongoose sounds and performs the best IMO, Magnex for the sleeper aspect or for flexi sections. Scorpion even sound stangled when they're whistlin to me 3rd by default

if you only want to go down the route of mongoose, scorpion or magnex then go mongoose mate as they do the job best out of those 3.........however there are other custom exhaust manufacturers out there that arent franchised that will do you an exhaust which will be diff to the norm, if wanted, but have the advantage of fitting perfectly .

off the shelf exhausts will always be cheaper as theyre mass produced and for testing purposes will always pop up tops in polls but thats probably only because if you striving for out and out power its a big risk for people to try a custom exhaust company if it doesnt come up with the goods so most choose out of the 3 mentioned above.
