4x4 Cosworth Sump Sealant
I swear by LOCTITE 5900 or 5910(quick setting), awsome stuff does much more than cars too, a bit pricey, but so is oil.
I have stucks sumps on cars with this with, never yet had a leak due to this stuff, it is actually a flange sealant, but does so much more, Hylomar is like ply dough in comparison.

Thanks we will give that a go.
I have stuck trim on with this, even "glued" things together with this stuff, I used it on a sump once, then man changed his mind wanted crank balanced after all, so had to lever the sump off, then spend an hour straightening it, took about 10-15 minutes to get off after bolts were out.
